Any damage to the property will be an additional charge. Live like a local in this newly renovated warm cottage located on a very convenient and friendly street in Folly Beach. You'll really enjoy this fun "Folly Style" original property with so much to offer that you may not want to leave. Especially when you'll most probably get to know the many of the locals strolling by, running, biking, golf carting, or walking their "pups". The're very friendly and love to help visitors and make them feel welcomed. I think you'll also enjoy the landscaping complete with Azaleas, Confederate Jasmine, Roses, Honeysuckle, ferns, and seasonal flowers. At night the "Lil Pearl" comes alive, yes with a unique purple lit sidewalk. Landscape lighting, and other outdoor lights make your stay fun, festive and not very easy to miss at night. You can always find you're way "home". Much effort and attention has been put forth to make this house enjoyable for you and your party. I have 3 vacation properties at Folly Beach and I try to do everything possible to make my guests comfortable and ensure you have a wonderful vacation experience. Watch out if you visit during a holiday because it will most probably decorated for you! This fun and cheerful cottage is newly painted using light, fresh, iridescent colors that are sure to relax you and put you in a great mood to enjoy" Folly". The furnishings are new and up to date with style and your comfort in mind. Central heat and air has been has been added and ceiling fans are in LR and the 2 BR's for your additional comfort. The kitchen is a nice size, cozy, fresh and well equipped for any meal you wish to prepare. Plenty of dishes, pots, pans, bake wear, crock pots, blender, coffee pots, and even a George Foreman indoor grilling for a quick and easy meal. Seating for 4 at the kitchen bar is available for inside dining. The Master BR has a comfortable queen bed and the 2nd BR has a comfortable full sized bed. Both bedrooms have nice bed linens and plenty of drawer space. You also get ample towels, face towels, and wash clothes for the length of your visit.The room's furnishings are very nicely appointed with curtains AND blinds for a restful sleep. On the deck, a private, spacious, and enclosed outdoor shower has just been added with hot and cold water for a quick refreshing shower after the beach or just to help get everyone ready for the day or evening. Also located on the deck is a gazeebo to relax under and "people watch", cook out on the gas grill, dine or, if weather permitting, just listen to the rain on the tin roof. Much thought, time, and preparation has been given to this little cottage for your escape and I want you to be very pleased with your selection of the "Lil Pearl". The mission of this property is to help you feel like you are experiencing something very different, fun, and comfortable while feeling "at home" during your much deserved "time off" with your friends and family. Two off street parking spaces are available with 2 additional spaces on the street next door. With this location, you can just park your car and walk it, bike it,rent a golf cart and slowly ride it. You'll sure to see a lot more, as you don't want to miss a thing. The Lil' Pearl is a great spot for a smaller family or 4 adults with overflow on the queen pull out sofa in the living room for 2 additional guests. Lay back and enjoy the easy feeling of 'Old Folly' that you'll certainly experience at the Lil' Pearl '. You'll love how centrally located you will be by being so close to the beach, parks, and the business district with all of the shopping and restaurants. You're going to enjoy the simplicity of this little cottage. Bert's, our local grocery store and the 'adult beverage' store is few blocks away.they never close. They have great "eats", too. A park with basketball courts, tennis, a skate board park and outdoor play equipment for the kids is only 1 block away. Next door is social treat for your 4 legged "child" which is a doggy park.Oh, I do consider pets(dogs only) but request that be crated, if possible, while you're out and about. And"rest assured" I have the "Lil Pearl" treated for mosquitoes and pests on a regular basis. As you may know, the South is known for certain critters that are unpleasant and that we want to avoid. My Pest Management Company is on call for the "Lil Pearl" at all times. No worries. Since there's only 1 step up to the house, it's a "God send" you're unloading your luggage and groceries or" just don't t to do steps". Another plus for saving this cottage! After living in the 'air' for 26 yrs. (referring to 13 foot pilings that new homes are now required to place their 1st floors upon) I do appreciate this great feature and I think you will, too. When you do have to leave the "Lil Pearl",I hopefully, you'll have experienced "Folly" as it is and discovered a place that's special, fun, eclectic, and just easy. if so, I know you'll want to return to" Folly"" and hopefully back to the "Lil Pearl, as well. The best kind of stay--the one where the owner is incredibly conscientious, communicative, and inspires confidence in your upcoming vacation, then has tended to every detail when you arrive. Teresa's place is so cute--just blocks from gorgeous Folly Beach in one direction, and blocks from Folly's awesome night life in the other (yet far enough away from the latter that you'll never hear it). I grew up going to beach vacations, and this place brought out the nostalgia in WAVES. Swing by the quirky Chico Feo's for a few cold adult beverages after a hot day at the beach. Comfy beds, delightfully appointed; central air in the place easily combats the hot Carolina summer days. LOVE THIS PLACE--Lil Pearl is a huge gem. Thank you Teresa!

The Lil Pearl is a charming beach house. The beach is only 2 blocks away about a 3 minute walk. Teresa has this property more than ready for your stay.All you really need to bring is your food & clothes.Teresa’s style of decorating adds to the Lil Pearls charm.We loved that we were able to bring our Dog Nikki. She loved the late night walks on the beach.We rented a golf cart from Ajax golf cart rentals who deliver & pick up the golf cart you rent online.Parking is $$ so the golf cart makes it easy to get around to the restaurants & bars.Tersa Does a Great job of communicating with you during the purchasing of this property and the time you stay there. This is a great little getaway. Very comfortable Queen size bed.Air conditioning worked great. I Highly recommend the Lil Pearl!
We enjoyed Folly Beach as well as Charleston. Lil Pearl was a great place to stay. We would definitely rent this little gem again.
Lil Pearl is a delightful little jewel set in a wonderful location. It is perfectly located to the ocean and the town of Folly. It was so nice to be able to walk almost everywhere. The owner,Teresa, is charming and so helpful and gracious. We had such a wonderful visit and were so pleased with how comfortable and delightfully furnished Lil Pearl is. We would highly recommend it! We will definitely be going back.

Property was as pictured and described. The outdoor shower is AWESOME! Perfect for our family of 3 and two dogs. A very short walk to the beach and a quiet neighborhood made for a great vacation. Teresa let us know she was available if any problems arose. None did, but her availability was a comfort. I would recommend this spot to anyone.

My sister and I stayed at Lil Pearl for three days and we LOVED it.The cottage is so cute and comfortable. We loved the gazebo and sat out there each evening. It’s close enough to the beach and to Center Street and Berts that we were able to walk everywhere. We enjoyed the outdoor shower. It was so handy for dirty feet, and we showered in it every day as well. The beds were very comfortable. The AC worked great. And Theresa is so friendly and helpful. This is the perfect beach cottage. We would stay here again in a heart beat. - Linda Shaffer
