Highly recommended! Tom is great host--very communicative, sincerely trying to assure you have a great stay. Very clean and comfortable. Met all of our needs. Bonus was a dolphin swimming through the back yard and a blue heron that landed and decided to spend the whole morning with us outside the back porch. If you're headed to Pine Island consider this place first.

Tom's place is in a great canal-front location near the end of Bokeelia, lots of privacy between neighboring houses, which is a rarity on Pine Island. The accommodations are simple but adequate, nice separation between bedrooms and generally open floor plan feel. It could use a few upgrades in terms of outdoor furniture, bed pillows, and new microwave, etc., but we came for the nature and relaxation, and we were not disappointed. We spent most days kayaking around the area right from the house, seeing dolphins, birds, and of course fish. Tom is easy to work with, friendly, and quite responsive to messages.
